Colt Official Police Double Action Revolver .38 Special - The Great Prohibition Gat

This Official Police .38 Special has a 6” barrel with a bright and excellent bore. The metal on this 1929 Prohibition Era revolver retains about 97% of the original blueing, with some high edge wear, thinning at the sides of the barrel with light operational wear along the cylinder. All markings remain crisp. The polished sides of the hammer remain mostly brilliant, and the ejector rod head shows some remnants of smoky case-hardened colors.
The checkered walnut grips with the silver Colt medallions remain in very fine condition with very light handling marks. The grips are unnumbered, the fit is perfect to the frame.
The action functions flawless, with solid lock-up and perfect timing.
