Colt Single Action Army, 1959 Vintage, Cal. .38 Special, with Original Black Box

Description:
2nd Generation Colt Single Action Army fitted with a 7 1/2 inch barrel, full length ejector tube/rod, black checkered plastic grips with Rampant Colt monograms, color case-hardened finished frame, rest of gun is blue finished, and chambered in .38 Special.  This 1959 vintage Colt is in like new/unfired condition, with a barely noticeable drag line on the cylinder.  The bore is as new and the action is the same.  The grips fit very well and are also in as new condition.  Comes with its original numbered (hand written on the bottom) to the gun "black" box and instructions manual.  The box is in fine condition, the hinge is completely intact and there are only 2 corners of the lid that are damaged/cracked.  Also included is a Colt factory letter attesting to its original configuration and that it was shipped to Brooks & Chappell Sporting Goods Company, located in Dayton, Ohio, on December 10th, 1959.      An extremely fine example of its type.                                             CURIO & RELIC
