High Condition 1932 Colt SAA 38 Special 4 3/4'' Blue/CC with Box
Description:
1932 Colt Pre War SAA chambered and 38 special with a 4.75 inch barrel and blue/color cased finish. Per the included Colt archive letter it was shipped February 1, 1932 to New York, New York. You will notice that the letter says 38 Colt as this is a common practice for them as they don't like to list S&W calibers on the letters. Also included is it's correct and authentic box but please note that the number on the bottom is too faded to read. It is also worth noting that any single action and 38 special is fairly scarce. This is a high condition all original survivor. All numbers match on the frame, grip frame, cylinder, and grips. The bluing still retains a deep dark shine throughout and most of the color casing is still fairly strong. There is some lighand scattered handling the most predominant being some minor thinning on the straps. Overall the finish rates 97%. The bore is bright and shiny with strong lands and grooves. All four clicks are crisp and the lock up is tight. The original grips are in very high condition with sharp checkers throughout. This is a very nice 91-year-old package.
