This is a seldom seen 38 Special revolver built by Miroku arms in Japan, and imported for a brief period in the 1960‚s. This model is refereed to as the \"Liberty Chief\", and marketed as a snub nose carry weapon for police use. This double action revolver has a 2\" barrel and a 6 round cylinder. The gun features design characteristics of both Colt and Smith, and appears to be built on very high quality standards. Miroku is the same manufacturer that builds the Browning Citori, Winchester reproduction rifles and shotguns, and many other high quality firearms. The cylinder timing is right on and it shows only a faint turn line, with all the other blued surfaces in mint condition.
