Serial #12K0088, .38 Special, 2” barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a very nice nickel plated revolver that retains 98-99% of the original nickel finish with scattered small nicks and surface scratches from handling, most noticeably on the sides of the frame and along the butt. The hammer and trigger likewise retain most of their original color case-hardened finish with some mild gray fading along the raised edges and hammer spur. The checkered S&W medallion grips are likewise in excellent condition, but do have numerous small handling marks and surface blemishes at the butt on both panels, as well as some minor flattening of the points. The lock-up is firm and the action functions flawlessly. This is a great snub-nosed, pinned barrel Smith & Wesson and rates fine-excellnt condition overall. FFL
