Description:
This a rare 642-2 Air Weight in 2.5 inch barrel. I bought it new and immediately sent it to Richard Fletcher of Fletcher Customs in Virginia. (now retired) He specialized in S&W Revolvers, Gov't Model 1911s and Browning High Powers. He reworked the action and polished the trigger. That was about 10 yrs ago. I put Criag Spiegel Grips on it. It was my car gun most of the time, kept in a fabric holster and I installed a Clip Draw so I could always be able to conceal it. It has a great/smooth double action as one expect from a Master Gunsmith like Richard. The gun has some minor marks as one would expect. One would be hard pressed to find a 2.5 inch barrel J Frame.
If you don't like it you can send it back if you notify me within 3 days. I will ship it from my FFL to your FFL. The clip draw seen photos is no longer attached, the screw that held that on is a little buggered and you may decide to change it out for cosmetic reasons. This gun is in perfect condition and has way less than 300 rds through.  I will take care of paying my FFL to log it in and buyer can pay shipping to his FFL. FFL to FFL is the best way to handle gun transfers as it eleminates any chance of breaking the law. The buyer is responsible for knowing the gun laws of his state as they vary.
