Description:
The Smith & Wesson Model 64 is a stainless steel 6-shot K-frame revolver chambered in .38 S&W Special +P. The revolver is effectively a S&W Model 10, but in stainless steel. The Model 64 was introduced in 1970 and produced until 2021. The Model 64 was a popular choice for law enforcement during the transition period when many agencies were beginning to trade their service revolvers for newfangled semi-autos, such as the Glock and 3rd Generation S&W autos. This Model 64 is a 64-8, the last version of the Model 64, and was made in July of 2004. The 64-8 features a two-piece barrel construction, is a 3-screw stainless K-frame, has a frame cylinder lock, transfer bar safety, and is a double/single-action revolver.
