Spectacular, As New, Colt Cobra Revolver made 1965 with 2” barrel, caliber .38 Special with factory shrouded hammer in original shipping box.

Description:

First generation Colt Cobra, a classic lightweight revolver with steel barrel and cylinder coupled to an alloy frame, this Snub Nose example with 2” barrel, a factory shrouded hammer, and walnut checkered Colt medallion grips in its original well labeled shipping box with papers. The left side of the barrel is marked “COBRA/.38 SPECIAL CTG”.; the right side marked with the small lettered factory address. Rampant Colt on sideplate. Full serial number 169209 matched on the frame and crane. Checkered walnut grips with Rampant Colt medallions. Complete with original shipping box referencing model, caliber, and that it is shrouded. Literature includes owners manual, warranty card, and gunsmith’s warning.

Condition:

The revolver is as new. There is no discernible cylinder ring, nor are there any cartridge head imprint on recoil shield. Mirror bore. As the revolver is as new it was not cycled for timing. Slightly oil darkened grips with sharp checkering. No discernible handling marks. Complete with EXC box with light shelf wear. Comparable condition literature. A wonderful, scarce, and early Colt Cobra with factory shrouded hammer in original shipping box that will please the most advanced Colt collector!
