Very nice used post war S&W K-38

Description:
Based on the serial number, this 5 screw K38 was born sometime in 1951. Humpback hammer, mint bore and cylinders, butter smooth action, tight lock up. Grips obviously incorrect and well worn, but still serviceable. The K38 was one of the first handguns I ever fired, so I have a soft sport for them. I would replace the grips, throw some period Herrett's Shooting Stars on there or just a set of smooth K frame Herrett target grips. Gun has obvious blue wear, which is visible in the pics, bt it has not been abused. No rust, pitting or other damage. Just an honest 75 year old Smith with years and years of life left in it. $45 shipping to the lower 48, 3% surcharge for using a CC.
