Description:
A fine example of a Colt 1st generation Single Action Army. Serial # 174220. 44-40 cal. manufactured in 1897. Factory letter. Engraved exceptionally by "R.L. Ronnie". Mr. Ronnie was honored as the Engraver of the Year in 2004. He signed the engraving, a rare occurrence. This revolver was modified with a 7-1/2 barrel before it was engraved. The nickel is in excellent condition, but not factory. Above 95% of the finish is still intact. The ivory grips are not factory, but give the weapon a nice look. The action is tight, with signs of little use. The bore is sharp. Mother of Pear grips are excellent. Overall condition is excellent. Does not require FFL.
