Colt Peacemaker .45, & Colt Frontier Six Shooter .44

Description:
Beautiful, matched pair of 50-year-old Colt .45 and .44, Colt 1873-1973, 100 Year Commemorative “Peacemaker” and “Frontier Six Shooter” (believed to be unfired guns, but cannot guarantee, so listed as “used”). 1st-generation-style frames, fitted and made exceptionally well. A few handling marks, but clearly were not handled much. Grips are a 1970's after-market, old Ivory. Fewer than 500 of these matched, boxed sets were made by Colt, in the 1970's. These are a very low serial number in the run (MPC 5 & 5 MPC). Both have old, but bright Ivory grips in great condition. They come in the original wood and glass presentation case, which has a few nicks, but is in otherwise good condition. These are fantastic addition to any Colt collection.

The Colt Single Action Army Peacemaker, is in .45LC with a 7.5-inch barrel, and a virtually pristine blued finish. The Frontier Six Shooter, is in .44LC, also a 7.5-inch barrel, with a nickel finish.  Each has a 6 round capacity.
