This is a very scarce gun as it has the rare 4" barrel and the pre-1900 Colt type black powder frame, where the cylinder lock is a threaded screw in the lower frame and not the modern push knob in the frame-see photos. This beautiful firearm was imported by EMF, I think in the 1990's era. It is well made and has beautiful one piece solid walnut grips and wonderful case hardened frame and hammer colors. The gun has a tight action and excellent timing with the old style 4 click action. The bore is excellent and shows little use. I have owned this gun for many years and have only shot new commercial Cowboy ammunition and no junk or any reloads, it functions and shoots great. Why buy a pre-owned gun from a seller who has never even fired the gun?
