Colt U.S. Cavalry Single Action Army Revolver 1884 John Kopec Authenticated
Description:
This is an 1884 US marked Colt Single Action Army Revolver that was issued to the cavalry and shipped in December of 1884. After service it came back to the government and was reissued to the NJ Militia around 1886.
A Colt Historical letter was obtained which verifies the above mentioned information (See Photo) along with John Kopec’s Authentication letter (See Photo).
Noted author and historian John Kopec inspected this Colt and found it to be a fine example of an all original US issued Cavalry Colt Single Action Army Revolver with original David F. Clark “DFC” inspector markings and Capt. Frank Heath cartouche “FH” on the left side of the grip under the date 1884 and issued it a “Silver Seal” Authentication letter. These old original Colt’s are very rare and are becoming harder and harder to find. This gun has been thoroughly examined by Peacemaker Specialists to insure everything is in excellent working order with all parts functioning perfectly. Peacemaker Specialists was able to remove the ejector tube screw and verified the serial number matched the revolver on the barrel (See Photo).
