Gorgeous USFA SAA revolver produced by United States Fire-Arms Manufacturing Company in .45 Colt with 4-3/4 inch barrel, serial number 25840, with a vibrant color case-hardened frame and blued barrel. Fixed front sight with traditional rear sight notch in the top strap. Top of barrel marked "U.S.F.A. MFG. CO" and "HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A." with left side of frame showing patent markings "PAT. SEPT. 19, 1871/JULY. 2-72/JAN. 19-75". Left side of barrel marked ".45 COLT" with matching serial number "25840" on the trigger guard, frame, and butt. Fitted with black checkered factory grips with “US” monogram. Complete in black shipping box with foam padding and end label referencing make, model, and model specifications including "S/N: 25840", "Barrel: 4-3/4", Ejector", "Caliber: 45LC", and "Finish: CC/DB". USFA operated "Under the Blue Dome" in the East Armory building of the former Colt Armory complex in Hartford, Connecticut.
