ALL U.S. MADE, UNFIRED & UNTURNED.** Includes a factory 45 ACP cylinder numbered to the gun. Both cylinders feature the early-style curved bevel face. Barrel is marked 45 COLT. The quality of fit and finish is impeccable, and this revolver remains in factory new condition. The top-of-the-line U.S. Pre-War model was offered as the most accurate representation of the pre-WWII 1st generation single action Colt. Pre-War models feature period-correct "Armory Blue" which was a charcoal (carbona) blue, and color cased frame & hammer — both finishes applied by Turnbull. Fire blue screws, base pin, and trigger were an extra-cost upgrade, as were the beautiful one-piece Turkish burl walnut grips (Colt Single Action Army revolvers had fire blued appointments and charcoal bluing until 1912).
