Large and immediately recognizable Webley Mark VI revolver from WWI, cal .455, this all matching example manufactured in 1915. Markings are standard to include the Mark VI reference on the left side of the top strap and the Webley patent reference on the left side of the frame. Usual scattered British proofs. Fitted with original bakelite grips and rotatable lanyard ring.
Condition:
VG+ original finish with holster wear and fading as typical for a service carried revolver. Comparable condition grips. Near mirror bore with sharp rifling. Perfect manual mechanics with tight lockup. A nice no-excuse original finish and configuration Webley Mark VI as used by the British Military in WWI.
