S&W 460 3.5" Performance Center Lew Horton (Rare only 510 made)

This is a rare Smith and Wesson 460 Performance Center 3.5" with a fixed brake (giving the barrel a total 4.5" length making it compatible with most S&W 460/500 X frame 5" holsters) and a five round cylinder. The 460 S&W is the fastest production handgun cartridge on the planet. It has a huge amount of energy. You can also shoot 45 Long Colt and .454 Casull which is nice for adjusting power based on environment. This gun was manufactured in 2006 and has a mark on the swing of the cylinder indicating it was inspected and possibly "fixed" by Smith and Wesson as there was a recall during the earlier years of production.

The Lew Horton exclusive models are the only ones that come with this type of brake, a fluted cylinder and a lanyard attachment on the grip which is OD Green.

Northing major but the finish is worn in all of the typical places you would expect from being holstered.  If you're going to grizzly country sometime soon, this might be what you were looking for.  

SKU 170268 was introduced in 2006 as a Lew Horton distributor special. 510 revolvers were produced with a serial number range of LHZ0001-0510.
The revolver features a 3.5-inch barrel length with a fixed muzzle brake. The revolver is 10.75 inches in length and weighs 59.4 ounces and carries OD green synthetic grips. It has a fluted cylinder and a front Hi-viz green sight. The gun is stainless steel, has a satin finish, and came in a soft gun rug.
