Serial No. 169 circa 1840's-1850's, .31 caliber, 3.25"" round barrels. Six shot pepperbox with brown/grey patina, traces of original blue are present in protected areas. Barrels are marked with "" New York"", "" Warranted -cast steel"". Hammer is marked ""Patented 1849"" with the opposite side marked ""NEW YORK"". Two piece wooden grips show handling and usage wear with nicks, dings and scratches visible. Action functions correctly. Consignment
