This is an Allen & Thurber "Allen's Patent 1845" six-shot .31 caliber pepperbox revolver. Fluted barrel. Engraved receiver and grip strap, with rosewood grips. Serial no. 222 at all proper locations. Nipples are Good+. Action is decent and operable. Nice example of a smaller type of pepperbox.
