Very rare Worcester production concealed-hammer .31 cal. in fine condition.
This example, #90, is very smooth overall with generous color....95% semi-bright on the barrel, 50% fading blue on frame.
Barrel is marked "ALLEN & THURBER", "PATENTED - WORCESTER 1837"
Shows typical ingraving on right frame and backstrap, smooth sideplate and undamaged nipples.
Grips are solid and well-fitting with good varnish and some gouges, but this gun shows very well.
