Inv. 5015 August Menz, Regnum, Cal. .24. ser. 1619.
Talk about a limited production, try to Google this one and you come up with almost nothing. This 4 shot tip up pistol is clever as all get out. Four firing pins and a tip up barrel with a vertical revolver type extractor. Works like a charm....
The condition is really quite nice for an early 1900s modest priced pocket pistol.
It retains about 85-90% 0f the original blue. The major loss being the rear back strap, some edge silvering and a few small areas of scattered flakes and pin pricks. The only real fault is that the left hand grip has some easily visible damage. The 4 bores are really great, all sharp and crisp with very little graying. Internally the gun appears to have seen very little use as it locks up very tight.
A very scarce oddity indeed.......$1295.
