BROOKLYN ARMS CO. SLOCUM’S PATENT SLIDING CHAMBERFRONT LOADING REVOLVER CIRCA 1860’S. .32 rim fire caliber 5 shot single action with barrel stamped “B. A. CO. PATENT APRIL 14TH 1863”. Early attempt to circumvent the Rollin White patent bored thru cylinder. Fine and 100% original. Factory engraved with checkered factory rosewood grips with the right flat neatly inscribed “TEXAS”. Very crisp overall with 60-70% blue mixed with patina on the metal and very crisp engraving on the mellow brass frame. Excellent bore and chambers and perfect working order.
