COLT 1860 ARMY "RICHARDS CONVERSION" TYPE II
Description: This is a very nice condition Colt 1860 Army "Richards Conversion, Type II". It is .44 CF, 6 shot rebated cylinder. Has an 8" barrel with an excellent strongly rifled, bright bore. Has the ejector rod attached to barrel , loading lever removed and the barrel lug is plugged. Serial number #4715, is found in back strap channel in walnut grip, on frame, trigger guard, barrel and backstrap. Assembley number "341" is found on loading gate and arbor. Wedge is unmarked. Has a two line patent dates marked on left side of frame. Bluing on barrel,backstrap, ejector and cylinder remaiming is approx. 50%. Has a very nice cylinder scene with engagement date very ledgible. Lots of original case color,(75%) remains on the frame, conversion ring and hammer.
