Very nice Colt Model 1862 Police or Pocket Model, Conversion to .38 center fire. Very nice condition for it's age. Has a 3.5" barrel with an excellent bore. All matching numbers on the barrel, frame, trigger guard, backstrap, arbor and cylinder. Wedge is un- marked. Has a very nice cylinder scene. Metal is all grey to plumb patina. Does show traces of case color on hammer and back of frame. Brass is all nice un- cleaned patina. Action is crisp and indexes like it should. Wood grips are solid with some original finish remaining.
