Description: unmarked Belgium Antique bull dog type pocket revolver in .32 short Colt Very nice Rare Antique Belgium Pocket revolver Belgium proof and inspector marks Nickel finish Loading gate factory safety on receiver .32 Short Colt Cartridge 6 shot in . 32 short Colt Crowned “ELG” in an oval (on the cylinder face) — this is the classic Liège (Belgian) proof mark, strongly indicating the gun was made or proofed in Liège, Belgium. The crowned ELG style used on many pocket revolvers points to manufacture after 1893 “JK” stamped on the frame — Is an inspector/acceptance or small maker’s/contractor mark, not a main factory name. Belgian production was highly fragmented; many small workshops stamped initials like this. Bulldog / pocket?revolver form, 6?shot .32 Short Colt — this configuration (snub barrel, small bird’s?head grip, 6 rounds) was extremely common for late 1800s → early 1900s civilian pocket guns.
