Unmarked Birmingham Proofed "RIC" Style Solid Frame No. 2 Bull Dog 450 Revolver
Description:
Serial #NSN, .450CF, 2 7/8 inch barrel with a very fine bore. This is an unmarked No.2, solid frame, Birmingham, England proofed Bull Dog revolver. Other than the proofs the solid frame DA/SA revolver has the letters "SY" on the right side of the frame and is marked "NW" on the inside of the grip frame. The metal surfaces are mostly pewter gray with areas of fine pitting around the muzzle with surface marks and some light scratches. The bag shaped grips are solid with worn checkering and some mild contusions. Mechanically it has proper indexing, working in both single and double action with a somewhat weak return spring. An overall very good example of a real British Bull Dog revolver. Antique
