This gun is equipped with the rare Rigby loading lever. The grips are excellent and the checkering remains sharp. The cylinder has been cleaned and is matching. The barrel is marked “Deane, Adams & Deane 50 King-William St London Bridge" The front tang has the initials “WDC" This gun comes in its original factory case with all of the accessories. Several of these guns were known to be used by confederate officers. There is also a record of 8 cased sets like this one in 50 caliber being recovered from the blockade runner The Elizabeth.
