Description:
Very Fine Double Cased Pair of LeMat Revolvers. Absolutely beautiful pair of LeMat reolvers with a gold monogram on the trigger guards. One gun has approximately 50% of the original finish, the other gun has closer to 75% of the original finish. The barrels are each marked “LePage Moutier & Faure a Paris”. Both guns have the “LM” proofs on the right hand side of the barrel. Both guns come in a period case that was converted to fit these guns and the “CM” on the top of the case was added to match the monograms on the trigger guards. Accompanying the case is two extremely rare LeMat 3 cavity molds. These guns were in the Cliff Young collection. Cliff Young put together one of the very finest collection of Confederate Arms assembled.
