The engraved buttcap has a trap for extra Percussion caps. Barrel length is 5 ¾” length, overall length approximately 12 ½”. Grip checkering is excellent. The action works perfectly. This revolver is engraved with fine tendrils of scrolling foliate. The bore has very good rifling and areas of some corrosion. The revolver has approximately 90% of its high polish dark blue with some areas of staining and very light pitting. The overall appearance is very good even with the light stains as mentioned. These Adams and Tranter revolvers are very well made and tastefully engraved and have a striking appeal.
