Description: An Early Civil War Colt Model #2 1855 Root Percussion Revolver in Excellent Condition. Serial # 11,286, all matching numbers and made in 1856. The revolver has excellent metal, markings & edges throughout. It has an excellent & full cylinder scene on it. The revolver has excellent blue throughout with small areas fading to a plum patina. It has excellent case colors on the loading lever and the hammer has nice colors fading into a patina in areas. The burl wood grips are excellent throughout with a wonderful grain to them.
