Description: An Early U.S. Civil War Percussion Joslyn Navy Revolver In Fine Untouched Condition. Serial #1,430. all matching numbers. Only 3,000 made from 1861-1862, all original and complete. The pistol has fine metal, markings, and edges. The barrel is marked on the top, "B.F. JOSLYN/PATD. MAY 4, 1858". All of the metal on the revolver has an untouched natural chocolate brown patina throughout it. All the screws are original and nice. The original checkered grips are fine throughout with light wear. It has a very good action and bore in it. This Is A Very Nice Looking And Untouched Example Of A Scarce Civil War Percussion Joslyn Navy Revolver. These Revolvers Were Issued To Both The U.S. Navy & Army During The War. It Would Be A great Addition to Any Civil War Or Navy Collection!
