#4998 Colt 1878 D/A 7-1/2”x44WCF with Fine++ bore

Description:
#4998 Colt 1878 D/A 7-1/2”x44WCF with Fine++ bore (about a 8+ on a scale of 10) and Excellent smooth action both on S/A and D/A modes, 12XXX serial range and thus being made in 1884. Original factory nickel is about 75-80% intact with remainder being smooth grey brown metal. The “CFSS” etched barrel panel is fully visible. The beautiful original pearl grips are near excellent except for having a slight sliver at one of the pilot pin areas (see photos). The very often missing lanyard ring is intact. A very, VERY decent, showy, and early big frame double action Colt in well very near Excellent condition. $2295
