Major General Charles George Gordon of the British Army also known "Chinese Gordon", Gordon Pasha and Gordon of Khartoum owned one of these DHD conversions and is on display in the Royal Army Museum in England. Gordon was famous in the life and later in the movie Khartoum and was played by Charlton Heston and was the commander at the siege of Khartoum in the Sudan which lasted over 1 year. The relief column of British Troops arrived 2 days after the city fell and Gordon was killed by the Army to the Mahdi.
