I'm selling my collection. Here is an Antique Rare WHITNEYVILLE Armory model 2-1/2, 5 round Single Action Revolver. FFL is not required for the transfer. 2" Octagonal short Barrel with good bore marked onthe top of the barrel "WHITNEYVILLE Armory" & barely readable: " Pat.May 23,1871". Estimated production of 5,000. 5 round fluted cylinder with clean chambers, chambered in .38 Rimfire (Old ammunitions showed on picture are NOT for sale)). The hammer doesn't stay cocked, The action works well cylinder rotates with good timing. Solid brass frame. Serial number: 643. Bird eye rosewood grips are good the right has small thin crack. Very collectible piece of history is in a good condition. What is not written on the description would be on the pictures. I described it to the best of my knowledge.
