Description:
Antique SMITH & WESSON .32 4th Model Revolver
Late 19th Century .32 S&W Top Break Revolver
Here we present an antique Smith & Wesson Double Action Revolver in .32 S&W, made in the mid-1880s in Springfield, Massachusetts. The 4th model was made between 1883 and 1909 with a total of roughly 240,000 revolvers made. This would have been a nice gun to wear in a small belt holster or slip into a pocket for self-defense. Smith & Wesson, then as now, were known for their high quality revolvers.
The overall condition is very fine. The original nickel finish is virtually complete. The case colors on the hammer and trigger are vibrant. The blue on the trigger guard is 95%. The markings are clear. The numbers match. The trademarked hard rubber grips are in fine shape. The bore is bright and sharp. The action is excellent in double action. It will not function in single action. Here is a beautiful example of a 19th Century Smith & Wesson Revolver!
