Description:
Standard early configuration Waffenfabrik Bern Model 1882 Military Revolver with thin top strap, chambered in 7.5mm, having a 6" octagonal barrel with fixed front and notched rear sight. Waffenfabrik Bern logo on left side of frame under the full serial number 6290, the serial number repeated on left side of barrel, cylinder axle, ejector rod, hammer, and trigger. Separate assembly numbers on various parts most notably ‘11940’. Original hard rubber grips, left panel molded with Swiss Cross enclosed by checkered field. Single transverse screw. Lanyard ring present.
Condition:
Revolver retains virtually all of its re-applied Arsenal rust blue, the muzzle having been re-crowned and in-the-white. Comparable condition re-strawed small parts. The cylinder axle having file marks on the lower surface under the straw. Bright bore with sharp rifling. Correct manual mechanics with all cylinder lockings up super tightly on full cock (No play whatsoever)!
