British Constabulary 50 Caliber D.A. Revolver
Description: Extremely RARE British Constabulary 50 Caliber D.A. Revolver This is a 50 caliber D.A. revolver with Liege Proof marks and is serial number #6. dating: 1875. The mechanical function is very good and tight. The bore is good with strong rifling but does have some minor corrosion. One of the great manstopper revolvers. Due to the size of their cartridge they were made with 5 shot cylinders. The grips are very good without any chips or cracks. The lanyard stud for the butt is not present. The barrel is 5.5” and the cylinder length is about 1.4”. Only traces of blue remain the balance is a plum color. No rust or pitting. SOLD Antique: Yes |
