Description: CASED & ENGRAVED Antique COLT New Line Revolver .30 ETCHED PANEL Revolver Mother of Pearl & Nickel Revolver Here we present an antique Factory Engraved Colt New Line .30 Caliber Revolver, made in 1876 in Hartford, Connecticut. A single action revolver, this small pocket revolver was produced by Colt from 1873 to 1884. This revolver utilized a .30 caliber cartridge matched to a 5-shot fluted cylinder fitted to a 2-1/4” long round barrel. The .30 caliber models were manufactured between 1874 and 1876 with 10,946 revolvers being produced. This example has a low three-digit serial number “161”. This one has good factory engraving with a nickel finish and a fitted case. The overall condition is fine. Original finish. The action is excellent. The bore is bright with sharp rifling. The mother of pearl grips are in great shape. The numbers match. This comes in a small fitted case with an Arnold & Sons of West Smithfield London label embossed on the blue interior lining. Cartridges will be shipped at our discretion. The case is in fair to good condition. The left lip of the lid is gone and the attachment at the rear upon which the lid hinges has separated.
