Cased Factory Engraved Forehand and Wadsworth Sidehammer Revolver
Description:
Nice Engraved Forehand and Wadsworth .22 Pocket Revolver with rare Littlefield Parsons Gutta Percha Case. The case is just like the 2nd style Smith and Wesson box for the Model 1, 2nd Issue Revolver. It has the same lining and motif on the lid but the overall size is slightly smaller. The revolver is nicely engraved with nickel plating. Like the Smith and Wesson Model One, it's a 7 shooter in .22 short (which was made for black powder, not modern smokeless rounds). Other than a little flaking at the front edge of the cylinder, the nickel is almost completely intact. Nice markings, edges. Mechanics are good with a nice bore. Grips have no chips, cracks, or repairs. Case is in Very Good Condition with no chips off the edges or cracks in the lid. Some of the little pegs which hold the gun in position have chipped off which is pretty common on the S&W cases which are almost identical. Nice little Pocket F&W in a case your rarely find. Antique, No FFL Required under Federal Law but State and Local Laws may be different. No sales to NJ, NY, Chicago, DC, or HI. Buyer must be 21 years old. Sorry, no International Sales. 25.00 shipping.
