ENGRAVED Antique LEE ARMS COMPANY “RED JACKET” No. 3 Spur Trigger Revolver Wild West Sidearm with PEARL GRIPS!
Description: ENGRAVED Antique LEE ARMS COMPANY “RED JACKET” No. 3 Spur Trigger Revolver Wild West Sidearm with PEARL GRIPS! Here we present an antique Lee Arms Co. “Red Jacket No. 3” Spur Trigger Pocket Revolver, made circa 1877 to 1880 in Wilkes-Barr, Pennsylvania. These pocket-sized revolvers and many like them were made by various companies such that the price easily undercut better known and established companies like Colt. As a result, many of Colt’s similar lines were shut down for their inability to compete. During a time when many, if not most people carried a firearm, these affordable little revolves were small enough to conceal and carry, yet provide some level of protection or peace of mind, even when the town did not allow firearms within its limits. Sometimes the name on this revolver causes confusion. "Red Jacket" was a brand name used by both the Lee Arms Company of Wilkes-Barre, PA and Hopkins & Allen. But this little .32 rimfire is marked as a Red Jacket No. 3, a designation used only by the Lee Arms Company from 1877 to 1880. The overall condition is good. Original nickel finish. Good bore for its age. The action does not function. Both pearl grips are in good shape with a small chip missing from the right side. Legible markings. The cylinder pin can be removed without pressing the release. This is a legitimate antique and not a reproduction. Barrel is 2-1/4 inches. Caliber: .32 Rimfire Overall condition as seen in photos. Very Fast. Very Safe. FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE. Delivered directly to your door by express mail! Guaranteed AUTHENTIC & Includes CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY. ancestryguns $1000 #240817 SOLD Antique: Yes |
