French Model 1873 D.A. Army Service Revolver
Description:
This is a 6 shot 11 mm caliber with a 4.7” barrel. It is a solid and well-made service revolver. It has a manufacture date stamped on the right barrel flat of 1876. The mechanical function is very good and the bore is very good, bright and shiny with strong rifling. These were finished in the white. Nearly every screw and part is numbered with the last digit of the serial number on it. They were solid heavy enough to be used like a club when the soldier ran out of ammo. It weighs 2 pounds 9 oz.
