Description:

Harrington & Richardson - “ Young  America ” - small frame Double Action Revolver.  First Model , 2nd Variation   Solid Frame, Nickel finish,  7 shot —  2”  Octagon barrel  —  Ammo used:   .22 Rimfire short and long.  SN 6999.   These revolvers were manufactured from 1888-1897 and made for black powder cartridges

Condition:   2 ” octagon barrel with a  nice bore showing a very small area of fine pitting  and strong rifling throughout.   The metal surfaces retain about most of the original nickel and shows the typical very light scratches and handling marks for a revolver this age but still looks extremely nice .  Correct original grips remain in very good condition with light handling marks.    Please judge for yourself from the photos.  Mechanically works excellent in single and double action with good timing and lock-up.
This revolver is a complete,  with matching numbers.   Nice example of an H&R solid frame .22 and would make a nice addition to any Harrington & Richardson collection
