Plant Transitional Model Revolver 42 Cup Fire

Description:
Here is a Plant Revolver (aka Merwin and Bray) Transitional Model with the iron frame. Flaydermans estimates that only 100 of these revolvers were made. It has the flat sides like the 3rd model frame with the longer front of the frame like the second model. The action works excellent and is still chambered for the 42 cup fire cartridge. Gun was made in the mid 1860's. This is a rare gun in great shape.
