.22 short.
Barrel stamped: SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD MASS.PAT.APRIL 3,1855, JULY 5 1859,DEC.18.1860
condition: This revolver is in very good shape. The 3 3/16“ ribbed tip-up barrel has a very good bore with some scattered oxidation very light pitting within and strong rifling throughout. The metal surface retain nearly 90% original nickel showing some light edge wear . All barrel markings remain crisp and legible. The smooth rosewood grips remain in very fine condition and stamped to the gun. The barrel is matching the frame by assembly number . Barrel to frame fit shows just a tiny bit of play . The hammer functions fine and cylinder has good timing and functions normally. This revolver comes with a nice, in new condition, rosewood colored presentation case with a full box of vintage .22 short ammo for displaying.
This complete, rare, and original model 1 Third Issue revolver is very hard to find in this condition, and as an antique, it requires no FFL. it can be shipped via USPS priority mail . FREE SHIPPING.
