Serial #13414, .36 cal, 7 3/8” octagon barrel with a partially bright about very good bore showing scattered light pitting and oxidation with otherwise strong rifling throughout. The metal surfaces of this revolver are a mix of deep gray and mild plum-brown patina showing some scattered old dings and pin prick pitting. he barrel address with Beals patent markings remains intact and strong. The smooth walnut grips are more modern replacements, a bit thicker than the originals, that remain in near excellent condition showing a few small dings and the base of the left panel stamped “340”. A respectable example of the scarce Beals Navy model.
