Smith and Wesson Model One, Second Issue, Civil War issue, inscription

Description:

Smith and Wesson Model 1, second issue. Small early 22 cal. short cartridge tip-up revolver. Interesting inscription implying a Civil War connection. Not sure but bought in a Greg Martin and no denial in description so might have been a last resort boot gun for a soldier or officer. Working mechanism. Non-fluted cylinder. Serial no. 20523. Marked 'Smith & Wesson, Springfield, Mass.

Inscription reads: Co.K, 14th Reg M,V (?)

Missing screw on top which provides cylinder stop action. Just don't like to use non-original parts. Otherwise, working order. NRA Antigue Firearm Grading would be Very Good to Fine.

My policies are simple. I accept bank transfers, checks (must clear...allow three weeks), cash, and USPS Postal Orders. Postal Orders are the best since they protect both parties and will result in the quickest shipment. I also accept bitcoins and, after receipt in my wallet, the purchase will be shipped as soon as possible.

I ship USPS Priority Mail. It has proven the safest and quickest. Shipping would be $15 USPS Priority Mail. International orders are accepted, with costs determined by country and weight. I have had success shipping abroad. The buyer is responsible for any duties/taxes involved as well as complying with local laws. But since these are considered 'Antiques', there should be no problem in most countries. International transactions must clear.
