Uberti .38 S&W Cartridge Conversion. This is the 4th conversion I have made over the years. Nobody makes a conversion for these. I am a better than average Gunsmith. I have many equals but not many better than me. I am very fussy - I like things done right. I removed all the black powder only markings & Italian proof marks. The only marking on the gun is the Serial #93X. Although it is chambered for .38 S&W, it will also shoot .38 Special Wad Cutters. I have left the gun in the white so it will be up to you to blue it, case harden it or nickel plate it. I made the front sight tall so there is room to file it down to sight it in & I milled the rear sight in the recoil ring. This is a beautifully made & smooth action gun. I have not fired it since I did the conversion, but I fired 5 blanks to make sure it functions. This is the only Paterson Cartridge Gun you will find. I know no other gunsmiths that have made them except for one fellow in Colorado & he gets over $1000 just for the conversion. You have to supply the pistol & wait for about one year.
