Description:
"Made circa 1860s. 44 caliber with an 8" barrel. This gun was excavated north east of Waxahachie Texas by a rancher digging post holes for a fence. It is pictured on page 122 and 123 of the book Dance & Brothers Texas Gunmakers of the Confederacy by Gary Wiggins. This is the only book ever published on Dance Revolvers. This is a very neat confederate Texas Made gun!
