Serial No. 3785, made in 1863, .36 caliber, 7.5"" octagonal barrel. Barrel address reads""Metropolitan Arms Co. NEW YORK"" faint cylinder scene is visible. Serial numbers are matching, bore has pitting noted in the grooves. Metal is an overall plum patina, brass has been polished. One piece walnut grip have light surface scratches but remain attractive. Action indexes correctly with a very tight lock up.
