A Percussion Colt Model 1849 Pocket revolver With "S.M.CO.#6" Engraved On The BackstrapIn Very Good Plus Untouched Condition. Serial #282,825, all matching numbers. Made in 1866 for either an "Express Or Mining Company". All original and complete. The revolver has very good metal, markings, and edges. It has a 6 inch barrel on it. Most of the metal on the revolver has an even natural patina on it with some areas showing nice blue and case colors. The brass backstrap is fine with a clear inscription on it. The brass trigger guard is also fine. The screws are nice throughout. The grips are excellent with original varnish. It has a very good action and bore. This Is A Very Good Looking Inscribed Colt Model 1849 Pocket Revolver Made In 1866 That Deserves Further Research Done On It!
